Rising Starz started from a small idea given to Emily Goldie by her Grandfather, Jack Clark. Fifteen years ago, he encouraged her to use her dramatic skills to teach others. After many years of teaching in the school system and with two small children, Emily decided it was time to let the idea evolve.

Rising Starz is a community based Performing Arts school that relies heavily upon volunteers to achieve fantastic results. Rising Starz aims to create a professional learning environment where everyone can achieve their potential.

Our Objectives:

1. To improve social and communication skills in New Zealanders

2. To provide quality Performing Arts tuition

3. To be New Zealand’s leading Performing Arts School, where all students achieve their potential in an inclusive, nurturing & caring environment

4. All students will be involved in a professional production
